Please help!?

My younger brother wants a bengal or scottish fold kitten for christmas and I've only seen prices from $400-+. I am a full-time college student so this is not in my range. Maybe $400-down would be better for me. Does anyone know any bengal or scottish fold breeders in az? I would appreciate any info.
