Husband in BCT-will he be able to make a phone call since he has Veteran's Day off?

my hubby is at Ft.Jackson, SC. i've read a lot of places that they all have BCT off today. he is still in the "red phase", but i was wondering if anyone knew the chances of me getting a phone call today??
