Ladies, what would you do if your church only did baptisms like once a year and you were on your period?

My sister wants to get baptized this weekend but she will be on her period. A guy a church told us one time that menstruating women would make the baptism water unclean, which might be true but isn't it unclean anyway since it is a pool there and it isn't flowing water which is self cleansing?
