Why do people want to see Alvarez vs Pacquiao but scuff at Mayweather vs Ortiz?

i like both fights but why are some people criticizing mayweather vs ortiz (basically saying ortiz is too inexperienced) but at the same time think alvarez vs pacquiao is a good fight? i think ortiz has way more experience than alvarez. your thoughts?
