Why wont my baby Iguana eat?

I have had my iguana for 4 days on the 9th of sept. It wont eat or drink or poop. So i know its not eating no poop any where. I have had 3 iguanas in the past but never this young. I have the heat temp right around 95-98 baskin and the other zone around 80-82. I also have the uva long strip bulb n yes the lamps r right over the baskin evenly. I have been feeding my iguana carrots romaine and other fruits sometimes apples ban..... u get the idea. It doesn't eat on its own so i finally got it to eat a piece of an apple n a little water from my finger. Im thinking of using a syringe mashing the food up until it can get use to its environment I will help it w its feedings once a day. Also the iguana is all nice n green n is active n very active when i go to hold it of course. so what am i doing wrong its been 4 days n no poop or food eattin i have been putting a little bit of food so i will know what it has touched. HELP i don't want my lizard baby to die !!!!!!
