Going to the bathroom in army BCT?

i use the bathroom an average amount if there is such a thing, but if I have to pee its not something i can hold for too long, what if in basic training especially b/c ill be drinking a lot of fluids b/c im exercising) i have to go to the bathroom in the middle of some training exercise or something? do i just walk up and ask a DS? will they let me go?
