Will the 9mm Glock to .22LR conversion kit shoot federal or other inexpensive ammo?

I never liked the conversions.....and they sometimes have issues with jamming...and usually like only top grade ammo. I have bad experiences with .22 conversions. For that price a Ruger Mark III or Buckmark can be had and you have 2 guns...not one that you have to keep swapping over.
